Freight Questions, Answered Directly

Pre-qualification answers covering documentation, cargo types, transit times, and tracking — organized by operational topic so you find what you need before making contact.

/ Documentation & Compliance

What documents are required for international freight?

Do you handle customs clearance on both ends?

Standard shipments require a commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading or airway bill, and a certificate of origin. Regulated commodities may require additional permits or customs declarations — we confirm the full set at booking.

Yes. We coordinate customs clearance at origin and destination through licensed brokers in each jurisdiction. You receive a single point of contact — we manage the broker relationships, not you.

/ Cargo Types & Transit Times

What cargo types do you handle?

What are typical transit times by mode?

We handle general cargo, palletised freight, oversized industrial loads, and temperature-sensitive goods. Hazardous materials are assessed individually against IATA and IMDG classifications before acceptance.

Ocean freight runs 14–35 days port-to-port depending on lane. Air freight is 2–7 days. Road freight within continental corridors is 3–10 days. We provide documented estimated arrival windows at booking confirmation.

/ Tracking & Warehousing

How does shipment tracking work?

What warehousing options are available?

Each shipment receives a reference number linked to live status updates across all legs. You access current position, customs status, and estimated delivery through a direct client portal — no manual status requests needed.

We operate bonded and general warehousing with inventory management, pick-and-pack, and cross-docking capability. Storage is contracted per pallet position or square metre with documented intake and release records.

Who is my point of contact during a shipment?

Can you manage recurring freight on fixed lanes?

A dedicated coordinator is assigned at booking and remains your single contact through delivery. If a delay or routing change occurs, they notify you before you see it in the portal.

Yes. Clients with regular volume on defined trade lanes are set up with scheduled booking windows, pre-approved documentation templates, and consolidated reporting on a weekly or monthly cycle.

Still Have Questions?

If your freight situation isn't covered above, our coordinators handle pre-inquiry calls and written assessments for new lanes, cargo types, or supply chain configurations.
